Demand for cow hides has increased greatly and due to this, current tanning time from start to finish is usually around 10 weeks. Unfortunately, there is a wait and we know you are excited to get your skin back, but the tanning time allows us to both keep prices down and ensure quality. As we batch tan our hides, some hides will have to wait a week or so for the next batch to begin. This does add time to the process but also ensures we can pass on competitive prices. As soon as your hide is finished we will be in contact and it’s important all contact details are correct, so we can pass on information easily. A tanned hide with minimum care and maintenance should last a lifetime so we are sure it’s worth the wait!
